Yep! Aladdin is the animated film Walt Disney that first aired in 1992. After 27 years passed, this film that was thick with elements of Arabic culture was finally remaking into live action and directed by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, The Man From U.N.C.L.E).
Scheduled to premiere around the world on May 24, 2019, Indonesia must be lucky because Aladdin has been aired in local theaters two days earlier than the original date.
For those of you who haven't watched, here are five reasons why you should go to the cinema to view the live action version of the film Aladdin.
1. Starring talented actors and actresses
The two main characters in the film Aladdin are played by Mena Massoud (Aladdin) and Naomi Scott (Jasmine).
Given that Aladdin is a film that is thick with elements of Arabic culture, it is not surprising that Mena Massoud, who is an Egyptian-blooded actor, was very well chosen to play the main character in the film Aladdin.
