Behind it all, there is a man named Yip Man or often called Ip Man. He is a Wing Chun martial arts master. Bruce Lee became one of his students, who managed to legend. The beginning of life

On October 1, 1893, Yip Man was born in Foshan, Guangdong province, China. He was taken to a wealthy and influential family who owned agriculture. Yip Man is the third of four children. The names of his parents are Ip Oi Dor and Ng Shui. He grew up as a smart and well-educated child because of his family status.


At the age of 11, he became interested in Wing Chung, after watching martial arts classes taught by Chan Wah Shun in his family's temple. For information, Wing Chung is a unique form of martial arts that specializes in close combat, quick punches, and defense kicks and footwork dexterity.

At the age of 12, Man studied martial arts developed in southern China more than 300 years ago. Initially, Chan Wah Shun thought the boy was joking, so he asked him to pay a considerable amount to join Wing Chung's class. Yip Man or Ip Man. At the age of 15, Man moved to Hong Kong. Two years of education at St. Stephen's College. While in Hong Kong, he also continued his martial arts training. During his time there, he had conquered a policeman who fought with a woman, using a martial arts movement. Someone notified Wan of his actions to a man, who then challenged him to show his martial arts skills. After seeing Man's imperfect abilities, the man revealed himself to be Leung Bik, teacher of Wah Shun. Since then, Yip Man has been under the supervision of Leung Bik. However, education is, in fact, at a critical point when working at Wing Chun.

In 1917, he returned to Foshan, China, to become a police officer. He also teaches Wing Chun privately. He is married to Cheung Wing Sing and has two sons, who will then continue the work of his father in Wing Chun martial arts. The man came to Yip Man in 1953. At that time, Lee was only 13 years old and later became a friend for life. Initially, his martial arts training business was not as fortunate as Lee's career. However, Lee's role in the film The Green Hornet brought fame and prosperity to Yip Man. He opened a more extensive training center so that it developed and became famous. The number of students who practice is increasing, and wealth is increasingly abundant. Later, he decided to establish the Vin Tsun Atheltic Association in 1967.

At 77 years old, Yip Wan retired from teaching martial arts but never stopped practicing it. Meanwhile, his son replaced his position learning Wing Chun. Yip Man performed the techniques of Siu Lim Tao and Chum Kiu. The death and respect of Yip Man died of cancer complications on December 2, 1972, in Hong Kong.
